On Sunday, the Jeans follow a kidnapping- oops, an elopement. An ice hockey referee denies having hit a player causing a bloody nose in front of the crowd. The commissioner orders Tom to investigate the latest of 12 -usually frequent- deaths in a retirement home; autopsy confirms at least one was a result of poisoning by injection. The Antwerp Zoo director reports repeated vandalism, no break-in.

Ruige reports his girlfriend Tess, the daughter of senator Verbesselt, has been missing for a week, but is shamelessly ignored as usual.
